Essex County Council are reviewing its support for 46 local bus services – and they want to hear from you.
The consultation is open until Sunday 26 October 2025, and it’s your chance to shape the future of supported bus routes across Essex, including those serving our local area.

These services are funded by Essex taxpayers and mainly operate in rural areas or at quieter times like evenings and Sundays. With pressure on local authority budgets, ECC is assessing whether these routes are still viable, need redesigning, or could return to commercial operation.
