All school-aged children are invited to design the Mayor’s official Christmas card or pen a festive poem for a chance to win a prize and join Mayor Jay Laplain on stage at Lighting Up Brentwood, where they’ll help switch on the Brentwood’s Christmas lights!
Design a festive card (A4, portrait, no glitter or cotton wool)
Write a poem titled “My Christmas Wish” (max 200 words)Mayor of Brentwood, Councillor Jay Laplain, said: “Through this competition, we’re inviting children across Brentwood to share their festive spirit and creativity. I look forward to seeing their wonderful designs and heartfelt poems, and celebrating their talents at Lighting Up Brentwood.”
