Important roadworks information from National Highways
A12 northbound between junctions 12 (Marylands Interchange) and 15 (Webbs Farm Interchange) – resurfacing
National Highways plan to carry out resurfacing on the A12 northbound between junctions 12 and 15. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, smoother and better-defined road surface.
NH plan to complete this work over two nights on Monday 23 February and Tuesday 24 February 2026 and will work overnight between 9pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, the A12 northbound between junctions 12 and 15 will need to be closed, with raffic diverted as detailed below:
If you’re traveling northbound on the A12 through junction 12 (Marylands Interchange):
- Exit at junction 12 onto the B1002 (Roman Road)
- Follow the B1002 northbound through Margaretting to junction 15 (Webbs Farm Interchange)
- Rejoin the A12 to continue your journey north
