Last week, IFPC Chair Cllr Paul Jeater was joined by Cllr David Worsfold, Chair of Brentwood Council’s Green & Clean Committee, in The Furlongs to deliver black bins and recycling bags to residents. These are part of preparations for Brentwood’s new household waste pilot scheme, which begins on 7 October.
Around 500 households in Ingatestone will take part. If you’re included, you will already have received a letter with details.
The pilot aims to improve recycling rates and reduce landfill in line with Essex-wide targets. The first collection under the new system will take place on 7 October.
