At the end of last week, IFPC placed poppies throughout the village in commemoration of Remembrance Day, honouring those who have served and sacrificed.
This Sunday, 9 November, parish councillors will join residents in marking the occasion with services and wreath-laying ceremonies in both Ingatestone and Fryerning. Everyone is warmly invited to take part.
Ingatestone
9.45am: Remembrance Parade sets off from Ingatestone Library. Members of the public are welcome to join the parade at the back.
10.00am: Service at St. Edmund and St. Mary’s Church Ingatestone. All are welcome to attend, regardless of faith or denomination.
Just before 11.00am: Laying of a wreath at the War Memorial.
Fryerning
10.15am: Service at Fryerning Church, followed by the laying of a wreath.
