Lipreading classes
Do you have difficulty following conversation even though you may wear a hearing aid? If you have become deaf or hard of hearing then lipreading can help improve communication. Attending lipreading classes can help you manage your hearing loss in a relaxed environment. Jacqui, the lipreading tutor, teaches you skills that help you to lipread better and to understand how it all works.
Sign language classes
These are offered to both hearing and hard of hearing learners. They are taught by Sarah, the organisation’s Deaf tutor. Sarah has years of teaching experience. Come along and try it out!
The classes are based on 6 sessions and start in February 2025. They are held at Seymour Pavilion and Christy Hall.
