Ingatestone and Fryerning Parish Council’s Neighbourhood Plan has progressed to the next stage. Last night, councillors at the Brentwood Borough Council’s Policy, Resources and Economic Development Committee voted unanimously to approve the formal submission of the Neighbourhood Plan (2020 – 2033) Regulation 15.

Our councillor Jane Winter, who chairs the parish council’s Neighbourhood Plan Advisory Committee, which prepared the Neighbourhood Plan, spoke of the level of community involvement in its production. Changes have taken place as part of the evidence gathering to create the policies in the text.

Brentwood Borough Council will now organise a further public consultation, taking account of the results and amending the plan appropriately and will appoint an examiner to approve the plan for a public referendum to be held in 2022.

Please see the documents below if you would like to catch-up on the progress so far.
