IFPC have received the results of a memorial inspection undertaken at Fryerning Cemetery. The assessors have identified 54 memorials that require work.
Visitors to the cemetery will note the tape around these memorials – red/white are classed as high risk and yellow/black are potentially hazardous.
Over the coming months, IFPC will be contacting the owners of these memorials so that they are made secure. Failure to undertake this work may result in the headstones being laid flat. It is the responsibility of the owner to cover the cost of the work.
