Our Climate Emergency Working Group has been developing a new community garden.

The work to develop land adjacent to Footpath 38 leading from Fairfield Recreation Ground to the train station has developed in recent weeks. The raised bed for planting is under construction and other projects have been scheduled in the Spring.

The Climate Emergency Working Group has arranged a working day on Sunday 3 April 10am-12pm which is welcome to anyone that would be interested in working on this community project. The plan is to continue the work to clear the site and map out further ideas for development of the area.

In addition, the Facilities committee have agreed that the annual village litter pick will be held on 9 April between 9.30am-12pm at the Community Centre.
