Dear Members, Centre Users and Local Community,
Ingatestone & Fryerning Community Association (IFCA) is announcing important updates to parking arrangements at Ingatestone Community Centre, effective from 9 March 2026.
As a registered charity, IFCA aims to encourage parking at the Community Centre for IFCA members, Centre users, and the wider local community at low cost and to be available throughout the day. Income generated from the car park plays a vital role in supporting the running, maintenance, and ongoing development of the Centre, helping us to keep facilities affordable and available to all.

The car park has increasingly been used for longer-term parking. This has reduced availability making it difficult for members and Centre users to find spaces. Accordingly, it has become necessary to introduce some adjustments to the charging arrangements.

With effect from 9 March 2026, the following changes will apply:
โข ๐ ๐ฎ๐
๐ถ๐บ๐๐บ ๐๐๐ฎ๐: Vehicles will not be able to stay for more than 5 hours (except valid permit holders)
โข ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ (first revision in three years) leaving short-term parking the same low cost with modest increases for those staying between 2 hours and 5 hours
โข ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฑ: Car park charges will apply between 7:00am โ 5:00pm, Mon – Sat (previously 9:00am โ 6:00pm, Mon – Sat)
Permit holder arrangements remain unaffected at this time. However, permit numbers continue to be limited, and a waiting list remains in place.
These changes are designed to:
โข Increase vehicle turnover and availability of spaces
โข Protect access for Centre users and members
โข Maintain parking as a low-cost, community-focused facility
โข Secure essential charitable income to sustain the Community Centre
