The Essex Local Nature Partnership has launched the LNP Community Fund 2025, offering £500 to £2,000 to help local organisations take meaningful action for nature and community wellbeing.
Eligible groups include community organisations, charities, schools, and other local partners looking to make a real difference.
Projects of interest are those that deliver genuine environmental and community impact, such as:
Linking habitats to boost ecological connectivity
Creating or restoring habitats to enhance biodiversity
Improving access to green spaces
Connecting people with nature, especially underrepresented or disadvantaged groups
Protecting or improving valuable habitats
Enhancing urban nature (green roofs, pocket parks, vertical gardens)
Projects should aim to support the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).
