The parish council currently has a vacancy for a parish councillor, and we’re inviting applications from local residents who would like to help shape the future of our village.
Being a parish councillor is a rewarding way to get involved in local life. You’ll work alongside fellow councillors on projects that improve our community, help make decisions on local issues, support events, and represent the views of residents. No previous experience is necessary – just enthusiasm, a willingness to listen, and a desire to contribute. Full support and training will be provided.
If you’re interested, please complete a Co-option application form and eligibility form and return it to the parish clerk by 5.00pm on Tuesday 6 october via post or by emailing clerk@ingatestone-fryerningpc.gov.uk. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend Council and committee meetings in September (see the front page of our website for the upcoming meetings). Face to face interviews will provisionally take place on Thursday 8 October before the Full Council meeting.
